Although always interested in photography, Jim stumbled into UW photography about 15 years ago and it has developed into a passion (addiction). Jim travels around the globe capturing images of the underwater world. Some of his favorite places include the California coast, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, \u00a0Truk Lagoon, the Maldives, Yap, Palau, Puerto Galera in the Philippines, Australia&#8217;s Great Barrier Reef, Turks and Caico&#8217;s, Curacao, Bonair and Belize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Jim&#8217;s current rig includes a Canon 5DMarkIV in a Nauticam housing, dual Sea &amp; Sea 250 PRO strobes, a GoPro&nbsp;and dual Kraken 5000 video lights with the appropriate ports to house his 100mm, 16-35mm and 8-15mm lens&#8217;s, and their diopters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity alignfull\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-large-font-size\">Instruction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Jim is a PADI certified IDC Staff Instructor. Jim is certified to teach a range of scuba classes from beginning open water or advanced open water to Rescue diver, dive master and assistant instructor certifications.
